Statement from the 14th Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS

The 14th Meeting of the Bank Board of Narodna banka Slovenska was held on 28 April 2009, chaired by Viliam Ostrozlik, Deputy Governor.

The Bank Board of the NBS approved the “Analysis of the Slovak financial sector for the year 2008” which will be published on the website of the NBS.

The Bank Board of the NBS approved the „Report on Economic Development in March 2009″ which will be published on the website of the NBS.

The Bank Board of the NBS discussed the Report on the activity and result of operations of the Standing Arbitration Tribunal of the Slovak Association of Banks for the year 2008 and on the basis of the proposal of its founders according to the Provision of the Article 68 section 2 of the Act No. 510/2002 Coll. on the payment system and on the amendments made to some Acts as amended, the Bank Board decided not to pay the contribution for the year 2009 for the activity of the Standing Arbitration Tribunal of the Slovak Association of Banks because of sufficient funds from the previous period.
