Statement from the 43rd Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS

The 43rd Meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska was held today (23 November 2010) and was chaired by Jozef Makúch, the NBS Governor.

The Bank Board approved the Decree of Národná banka Slovenska on reporting under the Foreign Exchange Act. The Decree lays down the contents, form and composition of reports, as well as the times, method, process, and place of their submission, effective from 1 January 2011.

As regards the reporting of assets and liabilities vis-à-vis residents abroad and non-residents, the amount at which assets and liabilities become subject to the reporting obligation has been increased from EUR 700 000 to EUR 1 000 000.

The Bank Board, in accordance with Article 6.2(d) of Act No. 566/1992 Coll. on Národná banka Slovenska as amended, approved the Decision of Národná banka Slovenska on the determination of annual contributions of supervised financial market entities for the year 2011, which will be published in the Gazette of the NBS.
