From the Slovak koruna to the euro
A permanent NBS exhibition that answers the following questions for schoolchildren and students:
- Why are European countries integrated into the European Union and euro area?
- What does the life-cycle of coins look like?
- What does the life-cycle of banknotes look like?
- Why do we need to know about the security features of banknotes?
The exhibition includes the opportunity to play some online games made by the European Central Bank and to see short films on particular topics.
Admission is restricted to organised groups, only by appointment. Requests to visit the exhibition should be made by e-mail to: info@nbs.sk Given the size of the exhibition space, groups are restricted to a maximum of 40 people.
