The number and value of instant payments in Slovakia is constantly growing. This is mainly due to the fact that the inhabitants of Slovakia are increasingly using mobile banking and internet banking to initiate payments. In the third quarter of 2025, the share of instant payments from all SEPA payments made in Slovakia was more than 40% and this share is still growing.
