NBS warning: iService, a. s., operator of www.zltymelon.sk internet portal

Národná banka Slovenska is an authority responsible for supervision of the financial market, the purpose of which is to contribute to the stability of the financial market as a whole and to the secure and sound functioning of the financial market. With the aim of ensuring financial market credibility, customer protection, and compliance with competition rules, Národná banka Slovenska warn the public that the company iService, a. s., the operator of the www.zltymelon.sk internet portal, and the company iSale, s. r. o., both having their registered offices in Bratislava, cooperate together in operating internet auctions of loans outside the supervision of Národná banka Slovenska.

Národná banka Slovenska warns that the process, which these companies use to handle creditors’ (investors’) funds and debtors’ repayments through the internet auction of loans, is not supervised by Národná banka Slovenska. NBS therefore recommends the public to pay closer attention to the assessment of the severity of the risks associated with such investment of funds.
