NBS strengthens its analytical team with an international expert

The National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) is expanding the leadership of its analytical division, appointing Joan Paredes as Director of the Department of Economic and Monetary Analyses.
Mr Paredes is an economist with more than 20 years of experience at the European Central Bank (ECB), specialising in macroeconomic analysis and forecasting. His appointment is the result of an almost year-long international selection process that included dozens of interviews conducted with the participation of a headhunting agency.
