NBS warning about FEB-Bank

Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) warns the public that the company FEB-Bank has not been issued an authorisation to perform banking activities in Slovakia. Nor does NBS have any record of the company as a provider of banking services under the European Union’s “single passport” regime.

FEB-Bank is engaging in so-called loan fee fraud by offering loans on condition of payment of an upfront fee. We advise the public not to respond to any such offers. If you are a victim of this scam, please report the matter to the law enforcement authorities.

NBS continues to warn financial consumers to consider carefully before concluding a contract with a financial services provider. Consumers may check the provider against the list of authorised providers published on the NBS website.
