NBS warning: Fraudulent e-mails claiming to be from NBS

Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) warns the public about a circulating electronic mail (e-mail) with a loan offer, in which the sender is falsely identified as “NBS – Národná banka Slovenska <infonbs@nbss.sk>”.

Národná banka Slovenska does not provide any consumer loans or credits, nor does it approve or offer loans.

The circulating e-mail is not sent from Národná banka Slovenska and its author is using the name of Národná banka Slovenska illegitimately.

NBS is taking steps to stop further circulation of this e-mail and is investigating the matter as part of its supervisory functions.
