Revaluation of the central rate of the Slovak koruna in the ERM II

Upon agreement of the finance ministers of the euro area Member States, President of the ECB and finance ministers and central bank governors of Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovakia, the central rate of the Slovak koruna in the ERM II revalued by 17.6472%, with effect from 29 May 2008. The central rate of the koruna to the euro has been set at 1 euro = 30.1260 Slovak koruna. The standard fluctuation band of ±15% continues to be observed around the central rate of the Slovak koruna.
The lower level of the compulsory intervention rate is 25.6071 SKK/EUR and its upper level is 34.6449 SKK/EUR.
