Statement from 9th meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska

The 9th meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska was held today (26 March 2013) and was chaired by Jozef Makúch, the NBS Governor.

The Bank Board took note of the Medium-Term Forecast (MTF-2013Q14), and the NBS Monthly Bulletin for March 2013. These documents will be published on the NBS website.

The Bank Board approved the Report on the Activities of the Financial Market Supervision Unit of Národná banka Slovenska for 2012.

The Bank Board approved the announcement on the issue of a €10 silver collector coin commemorating the 150th anniversary of Matica Slovenská.

The euro collector coin, weighing 18 g and measuring 34 mm in diameter, will be produced by the Kremnica Mint from an alloy containing 90% silver and 10% copper. The coin was designed by Karol Ličko and is due to go on sale in August 2013.
