Statement from the 27th Meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska

The 27th meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska was held today (17 July 2012) and was chaired by Jozef Makúch, the NBS Governor.

The Bank Board approved the document entitled “Introduction of the SEPA in the Slovak Republic – Implementation Plan, version 4.0“. The updated version of the implementation plan is aimed at harmonising the implementation of SEPA payment instruments used in Slovakia with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 260/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing technical and business requirements for credit transfers and direct debits in euro.
