Statement from the 32nd meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska
The 32nd meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska was held today (2 October 2012) and was chaired by Jozef Makúch, the NBS Governor.
The Bank Board discussed the Monthly Bulletin of NBS for September 2012, which will be published on the NBS website.
The Bank Board approved an agreement on participation in the SIPS payment system and a decision on the SIPS payment system rules.
The decision lays down the rules of operation for the SIPS payment system, as well as the rights and obligations of its participants within the scope provided for by Act No 492/2009 Coll. on payment services.
The agreement on participation in the SIPS payment system and the decision on its rules will replace the current agreement on the EURO SIPS payment system entered into between Národná banka Slovenska and each participant in the system.
The decision will become effective on the day of its publication in the Gazette of NBS.
