Statement from the 36th meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska
The 36th meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska was held today (20 November 2012) and was chaired by Jozef Makúch, the NBS Governor.
The Bank Board approved the announcement on the issue of a €20 silver collector coin featuring the Historical Preservation Area of Košice.
The euro collector coin, weighing 33.63 g and measuring 40 mm in diameter, was designed by Karol Ličko and has been produced by the Kremnica Mint from an alloy containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. The coin is due to go on sale in February 2013.
The Bank Board approved the announcement on the issue of a €10 silver collector coin commemorating the 20th anniversary of Národná banka Slovenska.
The euro collector coin, weighing 18 g and measuring 34 mm in diameter, has been produced by the Kremnica Mint from an alloy containing 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse side was designed by PhDr. Kliment Mitura and the reverse side by Mgr. art. Roman Lugár. The coin is due to go on sale in January 2013.
The Bank Board approved the Decree of Národná banka Slovenska on fees for acts performed by Národná banka Slovenska.
Following numerous amendments made to laws regulating the activities of financial market participants, this Decree lays down revised fees for acts performed by the central bank. It will enter into force on 1 January 2013.
In accordance with Article 6(2)(d) of Act No 566/1992 Coll. on Národná banka Slovenska, as amended, the Bank Board approved the Decision of Národná banka Slovenska on the determination of the annual contributions of supervised financial market participants for 2013. The Decision will be published in the Gazette of Národná banka Slovenska and on the NBS website.
