Statement from the NBS Bank Board’s 19th meeting of 2026
On 26 October 2026 the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) held its 19th meeting of the year, chaired by NBS Governor Peter Kažimír.
The Bank Board took note of the Bank’s 2026 edition of Structural Challenges, which will be published on the NBS website.
The Bank Board discussed and approved an NBS Decree amending NBS Decree No 11/2018 of 25 September 2018 on reporting by management companies, foreign management companies, autonomous investment funds, and depositories of investment funds for the purposes of financial market supervision, as amended by Decree No 4/2024 of 3 June 2024. The Decree allows annual reports on the management of a management company’s own assets and fund assets to be submitted electronically with a qualified electronic signature, whereas previously they could only be submitted in paper form. The Decree also aligns reports on the management of fund assets with the new statistical classification of economic activities, NACE Rev. 2.1, pursuant to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/137. Amendments are also made to the methodology for preparing reports on the valuation of fund assets and to the methodologies for reports submitted by management companies and depositories on breaches of and compliance with limits, investment concentration limits and risk diversification requirements applicable to fund assets.
The Decree takes effect on 1 January 2027.
