Statement from the NBS Bank Board's 5th meeting of 2017

The Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska today (21 February) held its 5th meeting of 2017, chaired by Jozef Makúch, the NBS Governor.

The Bank Board approved the announcement of the issuance of a €20 silver collector coin featuring the Levoča Heritage Site and the 500th anniversary of the completion of the high altarpiece in St James’s Church.

Designed by Pavel Károly and produced by the Kremnica Mint in Slovakia, the euro collector coin is made from an alloy of silver (92.5%) and copper (7.5%), weighs 33.63 g, and measures 40 mm in diameter. It is due to go on sale in May 2017.
