Statement from the 38th Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS
The 38th Meeting of the Bank Board of Narodna banka Slovenska was held on 3 November 2009, chaired by Ivan Sramko, Governor.
The Bank Board of the NBS approved the Issue Plan of Commemorative and Collectors´ Coins for the years 2011 – 2015. Three commemorative coins in nominal value of EUR 2, twelve silver collectors ´ coins in nominal value of EUR 10, four silver collectors´ coins in nominal value of EUR 20 and five golden collectors´ coins in nominal value of EUR 100 will be issued by the NBS during above-mentioned years.
The Issue Plan will be published on the website of the NBS.
The Bank Board of the NBS approved notification on the issue of silver collectors´ coins in nominal value of EUR 10 with the motif of the World Heritage Wooden Churches of the Slovak part of Carpathian Mountain Area.
The collectos´ coins will be minted from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the coin is 18 g and its diameter is 34 mm. The designer of the coin is Mgr. art. Patrik Kovačovský.
The silver collectors´ coins will be minted in the Kremnica Mint, š.p. and will be on sale in March 2010.
The Bank Board of the NBS approved the Decision of the NBS which amends the Decision of the NBS of 25 November 2008 No. 9/2008 on conditions of the participation in TARGET2-SK and the Decision of the NBS which amends the Decision of the NBS of 25 November 2008 No. 10/2008 on Settlement Procedures for Ancillary Systems to the TARGET2-SK System.
