Statement from the NBS Bank Board's 23rd meeting of 2016
The Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska today (6 December) held its 23rd meeting of 2016, chaired by Jozef Makúch, the NBS Governor.
The Bank Board approved an amendment to the issue plans for Slovak commemorative and collector coins for 2018 and 2019.
The 2018 plan is amended by the removal of a €2 commemorative coin marking the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, and the 2019 plan is amended by the inclusion of a €10 silver collector coin commemorating the 10th anniversary of the introduction of the euro in Slovakia.

The Bank Board approved a Decision of Národná banka Slovenska on the setting of annual contributions and special contributions payable in 2017 by financial market participants subject to supervision. The Decision will be published in the Journal of Národná banka Slovenska and on NBS’s website (www.nbs.sk).
The Bank Board approved the Annual Budget of Národná banka Slovenska for 2017. The operating budget is set at €73.6 million, while €8.5 million is earmarked for investment and €9.4 million for currency issuance.
