Setting the conversion rate for the Slovak koruna to the euro

Narodna banka Slovenska welcomes decision of the Council of the European Union on the adoption of the euro in the Slovak Republic as from 1 January 2009 and on the enlargement of the euro area to 16 member states.

The Council of the European Union took the decision on setting the conversion rate 30.1260 SKK/EUR. This conversion rate corresponds to the central rate of the koruna within the ERM II.
