Statement from the 4th Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS

The 4th Meeting of the Bank Board of Narodna banka Slovenska was held on 16 January 2007, chaired by Martin Barto, Deputy Governor.

The Bank Board of the NBS approved a Decree of Národná banka Slovenska on submitting the statements by banks, branches of foreign banks, securities brokers and foreign securities brokers for the purposes of supervision performance and statistics.

The Decree ensures the collection of data from entities supervised by Národná banka Slovenska with further reference to the supervision of prudential conduct of banking activities of individual entities and the related analyses and statistic purposes.

The Decree shall become effective on 31 January 2007./p>
