Mr Dvořáček has overall responsibility for NBS’s supervision of the banking sector, securities market and financial stability area. At the Finance Ministry, Mr Dvořáček was responsible for developing financial market policies, strategies and regulation (concerning banking, insurance and capital market sectors) and for the implementation of European Union directives on financial services.

Mr Dvořáček is fluent in English and has a passive knowledge of Russian and German.
