NBS warning about the activity of International Markets Live, Inc.

Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) warns the public about the activities of International Markets Live, Inc., a company whose registered office is at 45 Rockefeller Plaza, Suite 2000, New York, NY 10111, United States. This company, which has also been the subject of warnings by several foreign supervisory authorities, targets consumers in Slovakia and other countries through the website www.imarketslive.com, where it offers products and courses primarily related to foreign exchange trading.

Please note that the company has not been issued an authorisation that would allow it to conduct any activity which is subject to supervision by Národná banka Slovenska.

Warnings about this company have been issued to date by five other national supervisory authorities:

– the Autorité des marchés financiers (France);

– the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (Spain);

– the Financial Services and Market Authority (Belgium);

– the Financial Conduct Authority (United Kingdom);

– Česká národní banka (Czech republic).

Consumers are also recommended to familiarise themselves with the Investor Warning issued by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), which is available at https://www.esma.europa.eu/sites/default/files/library/2015/11/2011-412_1.pdf.

Národná banka Slovenska continues to warn consumers interested in investing in the financial market to consider carefully before concluding a contract with a financial services provider and to check the provider against the list of authorised providers listed on the NBS website.
