NBS warning: Abuse of the name of the authorised investment firm Infinity Capital, o.c.p., a.s.

Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) warns customers and potential customers of the investment firm Infinity Capital, o.c.p., a.s., having its registered office at Kopčianska 8, 10, Bratislava, that the business name of the company is being misused by the company INFINITY CAPITAL, whose business name has the same principal wording.

INFINITY CAPITAL promotes its services on the website www.infinitycapital.in, as a financial market participant authorised by Národná banka Slovenska under Act No 566/2001 Coll. on securities and investment services (and amending certain laws) (the Securities Act), as amended.

Národná banka Slovenska, as the competent authority for issuing authorisations under laws regulating the financial market, points out that it has not issued INFINITY CAPITAL any authorisation to conduct business activities in Slovakia regulated by the Securities Act.

In addition, NBS has no record of the company as a provider of investment services under the European Union’s single passport regime.

The business activity of INFINITY CAPITAL is not subject to supervision by Národná banka Slovenska, and funds invested in activities of INFINITY CAPITAL are not covered by the Investment Guarantee Fund under the Securities Act.
