Second update of NBS information about the settlement of payments on 14 May 2018

In regard to its earlier news release about the Slovak Interbank Payment System (SIPS) experiencing technical problems on Monday 14 May 2018, Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) would like to inform the public that some cross-border payments were not executed as a result of the malfunction.

Each bank will be addressing this situation in its own way, and therefore customers whose payments were not executed should contact their particular bank.

All domestic payments executed on Monday were processed.

Národná banka Slovenska apologises for any inconvenience caused by this situation.
