Statement from the 18th Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS

The 18th Meeting of the Bank Board of Nrodna banka Slovenska was held on 06 May 2008, chaired by Ivan Sramko, Governor.

Bank Board of the NBS discussed and approved draft Decree of Narodna banka Slovenska on charges for the NBS´s operations. The Decree is stipulating the amount of individual types of charges for operations or proceedings of Narodna banka Slovenska when supervising the supervised entities, while taking into account changes in the relevant Acts, particularly taking effect from 1 January 2007, 1 May 2007, 1 November 2007, 1 January 2008, and 1 April 2008. The Decree adopts provisions of NBS´s Decree No 11/2005 laying down the amount of charges for individual operations of the NBS as amended by NBS´s Decree No 3/2006, while taking into account new legal regulation in the area of financial market in accordance with separate regulations. The Decree shall become effective on 1 June 2008.
