Statement from the 34th Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS

The 34th Meeting of the Bank Board of Narodna banka Slovenska was held on 12 August 2008, chaired by Ivan Sramko, Governor. The Bank Board of the NBS discussed and approved the adjustment of the NBS budget for 2008. The budgeted loss was increased by SKK 45 million to the total volume of SKK 1 982 million. The budget for currency issue was increased by SKK 321 million to the total amount of SKK 1 655 million. In the investments budget, the expenditures were decreased by SKK 2 million to the total amount of SKK 380 million. The amendment of the budget was made upon requests related to the euro introduction. The Bank Board of the NBS discussed and approved the Interim Financial Statement and a Report on Results of Operation of the NBS as at 30 June 2008. The press release on Results of Operation of the NBS as at 30 June 2008 was published on 14 July 2008.
