Statement from the 37th Meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska

The 37th Meeting of the Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska was held today (15 November 2011) and was chaired by Jozef Makúch, the NBS Governor.

The Bank Board approved the NBS Decision amending Decision No 3/2010 of Národná banka Slovenska of 2 March 2010 on conditions for participation in TARGET2-SK, as amended by the Decision of Národná banka Slovenska No 10/2010 of 9 November 2010.

The Bank Board approved the Decision of Národná banka Slovenska amending Decision of Národná banka Slovenska No 2/2011 on general conditions for the provision of intraday credit by Národná banka Slovenska.

The Bank Board approved the NBS Decree laying down certain details concerning the authorisation of payment institutions and electronic money institutions.

The Decree will bring the implementing regulation into line with Act No 492/2009 Coll. on payment services and on amendments to certain laws, as amended by Act No 130/2011 Coll. through provisions that enter into force as of 1 December 2011.

The Decree will enter into force on 31 December 2011.

The Bank Board approved the NBS Decree on the submission of statements by payment institutions and electronic money institutions.

As part of the supervision of payment institutions and electronic money institutions, the Decree lays down more detailed and specifically adapted templates of statements for the collection of data for Národná banka Slovenska.

The Decree will enter into force on 31 December 2011.
