Statement from the 46th Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS

The 46th Meeting of the Bank Board of Narodna banka Slovenska was held on 4 November 2008, chaired by Ivan Sramko, Governor. The Bank Board of the NBS discussed and approved the Draft Decree of Narodna banka Slovenska on the Submitting of the Actuarial and Statistical Data by Insurance Companies and Branches of Foreign Insurance Companies.

The Decree stipulates the content and form of the actuarial and statistical data related to use of the natural person´s gender criteria as a determining actuarial factor when setting the amount of a policy and for the calculation of benefits if the setting of them is based on the respective actuarial and statistical data.
The Decree shall become effective on 1 December 2008. The Bank Board of the NBS approved the Decree of the NBS on the Submitting of Reports by Pension Asset Management Companies and Supplementary Pension Companies for Statistical Purposes.

The Decree has been prepared in accordance with Article 35 Paragraph 2 of the Act No. 747/2004 Coll. on Supervision of the Financial Market and on amendments and supplements to certain laws. The Decree stipulates the content, paragraphing, deadlines, form, method, procedure and place of the submitting of reports for statistical purposes by the pension asset management companies and supplementary pension companies to Narodna banka Slovenska.

The Decree shall become effective on 1 January 2009. The Bank Board of the NBS approved the Decree of the NBS on the Submitting of Reports for Statistical Purposes by Factoring Companies, Instalment Finance Companies and Leasing Companies.

The Decree has been prepared in accordance with Article 34a Paragraph 1 of Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No 566/1992 Coll. on Narodna banka Slovenska as amended. The Decree stipulates the content, form, segmentation, deadlines, method, procedure and place of submitting reports from 1 January 2009. The Bank Board of the NBS approved the Decree of Narodna banka Slovenska on the Submitting of Reports for Statistical Purposes on behalf of Unit Trusts by Asset Management Companies.

The Decree has been prepared in accordance with Article 35 Paragraph 2 of the Act No. 747/2004 Coll. on Supervision of the Financial Market and on amendments and supplements to certain laws and in accordance with Article 34a Paragraph 1 of Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No 566/1992 Coll. on Narodna banka Slovenska as amended.

The Decree stipulates the content, form, segmentation, deadlines, method, procedure and place of submitting reports from 1 January 2009 on behalf of unit trusts.
