Statement from the 7th Meeting of the Bank Board of the NBS
The Bank Board discussed and approved the Draft Decree of Narodna banka Slovenska which stipulates equal requirements for issuers with seats in non-member states whose securities are accepted for trading on a regulated market.
The aim of the Draft Decree is to secure full implementation of the Directive of the Commission 2007/14/EC of March 8, 2007, which stipulates detailed rules of implementation of certain provisions of Directive 2004/109/EC about harmonization of the requirements for transparency in connection with information regarding the issuers whose securities are accepted for trading on the regulated market. This applies particularly to the inclusion of the articles amending equal requirements for non-member states in the text of the provision. The Decree shall become effective on 1 March 2008. The Bank Board of the NBS discussed and approved the draft decree of the NBS No…/2008 on offering information about transactions in assets of a pension fund and on equity in a pension fund by the pension asset management company and its depository, and on amendment of the draft decree of the NBS No. 567/2006 Coll. which stipulates the contents of of the reports on results of operations in own equity of a pension asset management company, the method and extent of their publication and the contents of daily information about each transaction in the equity of a pension fund.
The purpose of this Decree is to stipulate the structure, extent, content, form, paragraphing, deadlines, method, procedure, place and methodology of the provision of information by a pension asset management company and its depository to Narodna banka Slovenska according to the Act on old-age pension saving. The Decree shall become effective on 1 April 2008.
