Statement from the NBS Bank Board’s 10th meeting of 2022
The Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska today (24 May 2022) held its 10th meeting of 2022, chaired by NBS Governor Peter Kažimír.
The Bank Board discussed and approved the Bank’s May 2022 Financial Stability Report, which will be published on the NBS website.
The Bank Board adopted decisions concerning the designation of certain domestic banks as ‘other systemically important institutions’ (O-SIIs) and the level of the O-SII buffers applicable to these banks.
The list of O-SIIs and their O-SII buffer rates are as follows:

Both the Decision designating the O-SIIs and the Decision setting their O-SII buffer rates take effect on 1 January 2023. Further information on these O-SII buffers will be published on the NBS website in the Decisions themselves and in the Bank’s ‘Commentary on decisions concerning the settings of capital buffers for domestic systemically important banks’.
