Statement from the NBS Bank Board’s 5th meeting of 2022

The Bank Board of Národná banka Slovenska today (15 March) held its 5th meeting of 2022, chaired by NBS Governor Peter Kažimír.

The Bank Board approved the notification of the issuance of a €2 commemorative coin marking the 35th anniversary of the Erasmus Programme.

Due to be issued in July 2022, the commemorative coin will have the same technical parameters as normal €2 coins and will be legal tender in Slovakia and the rest of the euro area. This coin will be jointly issued by all euro area countries. One million of the coins will be produced by the Kremnica Mint in Slovakia.

The Bank Board approved a document entitled ‘Report on the implementation of investment policy for investment portfolios in 2021′.
