The Central Library
Mission of the Central Library

The Central Library is managed by the Documentation Center Department and builds up a base of publications, information, and knowledge mainly in the fields of monetary policy, issuing policy, financial supervision and regulation, financial services, banking systems, banking operations, payment and settlement systems, risk management, financial management, macroeconomics, economy, law and related fields.
In addition to these core areas, it also provides basic information for other professional activities in the bank, such as informatics, safety and security, and human resources.

for the public

The Documentation Centre Unit is part of the Research Department. It provides its library, documentation, information and research services primarily to NBS employees. It provides information services to the professional public on the basis of an information request sent by e-mail in advance (topic, specialised terms, keywords) and on the basis of a pre-agreed deadline.
Information services for the public: research, reading room (pre-arranged visits).
