Cooperation Within the Network for Greening Financial System
At the global level, the NBS is an active member of the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS). The NBS joined this network, which brings together 152 central banks and supervisory authorities from 95 countries around the world, in November 2019.
Its representatives actively participate in high-level events (annual plenary meetings, meetings of the European subgroup) and are also members of expert working groups. They focus particularly on cooperation in the areas of financial market supervision, closing data gaps, and developing climate scenarios.
Adopted recommendations and other examples of best practices are equally being gradually incorporated into the NBS’s day-to-day activities and operational procedures.
