EU Cooperation
The NBS takes part in the work of selected committees and working groups of the Council of the EU and the European Commission. The Governor of the NBS attends the two informal meetings of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (Ecofin) together with the minister of finance . The NBS also has a representative in the EFC Committee.
The NBS participates in the macro-prudential and micro-prudential activities of the European System of Financial Supervision (ESFS) (www.bankingsupervision.europa.eu).
