Statistics
Statistical data provide information about volume and value of transactions processed in the payment system SIPS since 1 January 2003.
The introduction of the euro currency as of 1 January 2009 affected the concept of interbank payment system in the Slovak Republic and payment system SIPS became a retail payment system for processing customer payments. This was also reflected in the statistical reporting. This part of statistics is available only in the Slovak language.
After the implementation of SEPA standards in payment system SIPS (as of 1 November 2013) statistical data provide information about processed SEPA credit transfers (SCT) and SEPA Direct Debits (SDD). The statistical data is shown as a summary or on a monthly or daily basis, broken down to domestic and cross-border transactions.
