Directories and Registers
According to the Article 98 of the Act on payment services (No. 492/2009 Coll. of 4 November 2009 on payment services and on amendments to certain acts as amended), Národná banka Slovenska:
- assigns identification codes to payment service providers, issues and updates the Directory of identification codes for the domestic payment system in the Slovak republic
- assigns, based on a written application from a payment service provider, a direct debit creditor identifier for the purposes of the execution of direct debits within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and maintains the Registry of direct debit creditor identifiers
