At the same time, the most interesting research results are often published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. The most important external publications are listed in the profiles of the researchers.

Policy briefs are concise analytical documents. They are the output of economists and researchers from various departments of the National Bank of Slovakia.
They provide new insights into the policy framework at the Bank or summarize knowledge in a selected area. The materials can be of benefit to experts in the given field (reading time 10 – 15 minutes). The materials are available in English only.
The materials represent the views of the authors and are not the official position of the NBS.

The discussion notes are brief non-technical analyses. They contribute expert opinion to the debate on topical issues relating to economic and monetary developments.
The notes are one of the channels for disseminating interesting NBS research results. They are all published as expert views, which do not necessarily coincide with the official view of the NBS.
Short notes on the development of selected macroeconomic indicators, usually immediately after publication, are published as Quick notes.
