Euribor® / Eonia®

Euribor® (Euro Interbank Offered Rate)

Euribor® is interbank reference rate within the Economic and Monetary Union which was introduced in 1999.

Euribor® is the rate at which euro interbank term deposits are offered by one prime bank to another prime bank and is published at 11.00 a.m. CET for spot value (T+2).

Eonia® (Euro OverNight Index Average)

Eonia® is the effective overnight reference rate for the euro. It is computed as a weighted average of all overnight unsecured lending transactions undertaken in the interbank market, initiated within the euro area by the contributing panel banks.
