Messages by which the entries that could not be processed due to the insufficient funds are rejected from the SIPS system.
Each participant of the payments system holds a reserve account at the National Bank of Slovakia, which reserves also serve to perform the payments. In the event there are not enough funds at this account to cover the participant´s transfers, the transfers are not carried out but they are moved to the so-called hold queue. If, in the course of the day, the participant´s account is credited, the waiting payments are gradually carried out. Payments left in the hold queue at the end of the settlement day are rejected from the system in the form of a message about the rejection due to insufficient funds.
